The last time we met was like half a year ago, that was her wedding. Realli happy to see her again, appreciate her kind heart for taking time off for a meet up session. Thanks Chaying!
This is e best reward of tis week, as tis is not a veri smooth week for mi. well, too early to say, coz coming weeks n months will be more n more challenging, i believe, esp my big project in May... But yes, meet up wif old friend on Fri evening is realli wonderful, stress-free and cheering!
Dinner @ Waraku, Marina Square
There were Q, but we were lucky, like Chaying said, it is much easier to get a seat for 2. For a gp of 4 or 5, u may hav to wait realli long long. We were given counter seats, most ppl dun wan tis seats, but we enjoyed, hahaha! seating at e counter, u get to see lotsa interesting stuff, hahaha! n ya we took lotsa pics, n maybe frighten e staff there, they hav to hide the plates under e counter to prepare for e desserts, after they see mi taking pics again n again... heheheee....
Noe wat? when we r leaving Waraku, there were still many ppl Q-ing at e entrance! n i must say their service is excellent! They serve "waiting" drinks to those who r in Q! "Waiting" drink is better than "welcome" tea!
Dessert @ Azabu Sabo
first time have both dinner n dessert in a row, at two Jap restaurants. Azabu Sabo is famous for their dessert. n partly bcoz we hav "watched" almost all e preparation for desserts at waraku, so waraku desserts cant attract our temptation. so we decided to go to Azabu Sabo ^_^ so, ya, we Q @9.30pm!!! didnt noe tt there r still ppl Q-ing for food at such time! poor waiters n waitresses dun hav to rest??? Azabu Sabo's desserts r really nicely presented, n taste fantastic! Luv it!!! Esp the baked sweet potato! so smooth n sweet! And Azabu Sabo is a cozy place, suitable for chatting!
