Today is Airline's Big Day! The Solemnization of Matrimony was held at Spore Art Museum, it is a very nice place for wedding solemnization, esp for Christian. Airline is so happy, his face is full of smile and happiness. Of course, he is lucky n blessed to build a new family with such a gentle, sweet, cute and pretty lady! She delivered a very sweet n touching speech, when requested by the Rev. She is a very simple gal, simple and gentle, arent these what Airline wants as an ideal wife? :)
The ceremony ended b4 2pm, i still hav plenty of time b4 heading to Cheryl's house for New Year visit as well as pot luck dinner. Went to library for bit of reading, n managed to catch a show. Unlike typical Eddie Murphy's movie, "Dreamgirls" is not a comedy or funny show, it is a bit like musical, and i enjoyed listening to all those songs sang by the DreamMate. Later part of the show is quite touching, and it reflects the real society and some ugly money-minded ppl, and how ppl lost their true-self along the way of getting famous or manipulated by others. I felt good to hav some personal time to do anything i wan, hav not walked into a cinema alone for long, tis is really good chance.
The time was juz nice to head down to Cheryl's house. Have not visited her mum n her two little sons for quite some time. Her hubby looked tired, ya he juz came back from work, mind not very clear, kept on repeating Qs that he asked me year after year, we thought his brain short-circuit:p
It was a warm pot luck dinner, Cheryl prepared very nice steamboat with tasty soup base. Joan bought satays. KHian's mum fried bee hoon was super nice! Peow has come back from China, hasnt seen him for 4 years i think. He made Almond Jelly for us. We were eating and chatting for 3 n a half hrs! so full! Juz like typical pot luck, there were lotsa leftover... we were already over-eaten...
cant stay too late coz tmr got another session, need to be home to rest. Tmr will be Ch Orchestra Tuan Bai, for sure another round of laughing time!^_^
