This is the last entry for Year 2006! While 2007 is on the way, wish all of u good health, good wealth, good life n a wonderful new year ahead!

Today both my legs exercised a lot, hahaha! Met WSong at Bkt Batok MRT n we headed to Outram Park. We wanna to try the free shuttle from Outram to Chinatown, but waited for long n didnt see any shuttle bus. Hence, we walked to China Square.

There was a toys flea market at China Square, surprisingly quite a lot of ppl are interested in these toys, n mostly r guys, 90% r adults, age ranged from 20+ to 40s or 50s. So these were adult's toys. Though i dun really know how to appreciate these toys, from the expressions of some ppl, i guess to those who know these toys, this is an interesting hobby, n these toys worth collection. Some guys cant hide their excitement while see others holding "value for money" toys, or special edition toys.

WSong bought his toys too. At first he said this was his last piece in 2006, but well, short while later, we headed to Funan n he bought another piece. We were at the flea market for quite a while, n it was really interesting to see how much time n effort ppl can put in in their hobby like such, n to some, this is an investment.






We walked to Funan IT mall, coz theres a clearance sales in one of the toys shop, Urban Attic. Wah, u got to Q in order to go into the shop! I managed to take 2 pics outside of the shop, but werent very clear. WSong helped his friend K to buy 2 pieces of toys n buy 1 for himself. hmmm... not a "cheap" hobby... WSong wan to give the toys to his friend, so we walked back to somewhere near Chinatown, n walked into a toys shop named Xenohobby Workz. It was amazing, thats how ppl colour those toys n dry them! so professional! WSong left his friend's toys in the shop n we started our journey to Bugis.

No problem, i can walk. Long time didnt exercise, this was a good chance for me to "warm up", for my badminton session in 2007. Cal called me yesterday n said would organise one after he come back from M'sia. So ya, i need to warm up, hahaha!

We went to Bugis to catch a HK Movie titled "Confession of Pain". Bought tickets first, n we went for our lunch. WSong was very hungry, as it was already 4pm! We were attracted by a Peranakan restaurant opposite Bugis Junction, but the place was full! Hence, we went to the coffeeshop next door for meals. WSong had his Chicken Rice while i had Oyster noodles with Chicken. WSong requested for another plate of rice coz toooooo hungry liaoooooo........... (actually that was bcoz the portion was quite small) the boss didnt charge $ for the extra plate of rice, how nice he was!

I remembered WSong once told me abt a mango dessert, but he hadnt treated me that yet. So after our late lunch, we still hav some times before the show time, so we went to the dessert shop. i thought it was the one daRlin9 n I tried not long ago, but it wasnt the same shop. This shop is Ice Monster, the one that i went with daRlin9 was Ah Chew Dessert. Wowwww Ice Monster.... all ice... icy! the shop assistant recommended two popular favour, both WSong n I hence ordered Super Fresh Mango, Sherbet with Milk Shave Ice. Really taste wonderful! On top of it was a little iceball, at first i thought it was ice-cream, but when i ate, it didnt taste like ice cream, WSong told me that it was actually Sherbet. So desu ka ne... Learn sth new today:) The dessert was covered by SUPER fresh mango on its first layer, n there were milk shave ice at the bottom. Go try it one day, if u pass by Bencoleen! Thanks WSong for the treats! Last treat in 2006!:)

After such a satisfied dessert, we went back to bugis junction for the movie. I like Tony Leung, coz he has very attractive eyes! but still, he can never replace Andy Lau who is my Number 1 Favourite! my All Time Favourite! hehehe... Tony Leung is actually my Number 2 Favourite lor, though lot of u dont know... :p k, back to the movie, quite nice, but i think i prefer it to be in cantonese ba, mandarin speaking somehow feel bit weird, dunnoooo y.... maybe the voices cant really match with the actors n actresses???? Who is the bad guy in the show? it was too obvious, audience can easily guess it right coz the identity of the man was kind of disclose during the earlier part of the movie, think disclose too early liao... show the face of evil too early... as a result not much surprises... but then, i still like this show! heheee!

On the way back home, received a msg from Mr Chin. Mr Peh's mother passed away yesterday. Feel so sorry for Mr Peh. Actually, Mr Peh mentioned to me two days ago that his mother was very sick, n the family had prepared for the worst. Juz the next day, it happened. Mr n Mrs Chin were going to the wake, they were very kind to offer me a ride, fetched me downstairs of my block at my convenient time. Ya there are a lot of nice ppl ard me, i know this since i was young. Lot of ppl r very kind to me, n help me along my way of growing up. At different stages of life, i met different ppl who offered to help me, with or without me knowing. My life is blessed, i strongly believe so. Though there r setbacks, but there r always friends n even strangers ard me n help me. I appreciate the kindness that others render to me, n i will pass their kindness on, pass on to whoever need it.
